Course description:

Finch Therapy takes manual therapists to a new dimension of soft tissue therapy for the treatment of chronic pain and musculoskeletal dysfunction. Currently used by body workers, doctors, podiatrists and physiotherapists for joint realignment and rapid reduction of pain.

Whole body realignment is a key focus of Finch Therapy. Finch Therapy’s first step is to identify the primary cause of dysfunction. Specialised musculoskeletal orthopaedic assessments are used to determine this.

Using Finch Therapy, the guess work of which orthopaedic assessment to use has been eliminated because of our easy to follow systematic approach. Our courses cover how to interpret that information into the most effective treatment.

Finch Therapy uses joint stiffness and dysfunction as an assessment tool to determine where the muscular dysfunctions lie. The complex human web of the myofascial system enables tracking of muscles throughout the body.

Once the muscular cause has been identified, the muscle is stimulated through neuromuscular contractions. This instantly changes the joint loading and allows the previously stiff joint (including the spine) to move freely (WITHOUT the need for manipulation or mobilisation).

Lateral pelvic tilt, functional leg length discrepancy, pelvic rotations and sacro-iliac joint dysfunction can all be corrected within minutes. Our simple muscle re-education take home program ensures sustainability of results.

Finch Therapy course is a 4 module course (8 days over 4 weekends.)

Save your hands! Minimal effort is required by the therapist ensuring longevity of your career.
