This course adheres to the requirements of the (Provide Myofascial Dry Needling VU21418) and the requirements as laid down by the AAMT, is open to all remedial massage therapists and consists of four (4) one day intensives with practicums to be completed in class and in the students own time.
You will gain a greater understanding of myofascial pain syndromes, the role trigger points play and how dry needling may be an effective tool for the relief of trigger points and subsequent pain syndromes.
The course will be run over 4 Saturdays 9am to 5pm in Ballarat.

About the course Faciliator
Steven Wescott has 14 years’ experience as a clinical massage therapist/Myotherapist plus 8 years as a course coordinator and teacher in massage at Cert IV and Diploma level for Federation University. Clinical experience includes 10 years with Quiksilver Australia, 2 seasons working with professional cycling teams, 4 years within a podiatry clinic, 5 years in a chiropractic clinic and 2 years in a multidisciplinary clinic. Dry needling has always played a large role in my clinical practice.
