National Code of Conduct for Health Workers (Queensland)

Government, Industry, Local, Practise

The new National Code of Conduct for Health Workers (Queensland) (Queensland Code) now applies to all Queensland therapists as of October 1, 2015. AAMT provided a summary of the principles of the Code and the additional requirements that members must adhere to in the last edition of your journal. The Code complements existing arrangements for public and patient safety. The Queensland Code has been published on the Queensland Health website along with additional resources for public information and to help health care workers meet their obligations under the law. Members must display the Code at all clinics where they practice. You can download the Code from https://www.health.qld.gov.au/system-governance/policies-standards/national-code-of-conduct/default.asp as well as find posters and more information.
